Twin Woods Community Golf League
The Twin Woods Community League is organized as "teams" of golfers from the area's companies, schools, organizations, first responders, associations and churches.
The 2016 league will begin accepting team registrations in January.
All men and women golfers are welcome, regardless of experience and ability.
The league will include teams with a minimum of four golfers each; there is no maximum number of golfers for each team.
Teams can play whenever there isn't another league playing at Twin Woods and they can select the days and tee times that fit their golfers' work and family schedules.
Phase 1 (spring) of the league play starts the first week of May, Phase 2 (summer) begins the week of July and Phase 3 (fall) will begin the first week of September .
The league fee is $25 per golfer for the 24-week season of three phases. The fee to play only one phase is $15 and the fee for two phases is $20.
The green fee is a maximum of $15 per person for each 9-holeround, but only $13.33 per round for those who purchase our "Play 15 in '15" discount card. Riding and pull carts, as well as rental clubs, are extra (see below).
These two things are required for a complete registration:
Weekly Green Fees and Cart Rentals
The weekly green fee is a maximum of $15 for 9 holes. League members may purchase a "Play 15" card for $200, which amounts to a green fee of $13.33 per 9-hole round. That card can be ordered online by clicking the blue text above or be purchased at the Pro Shop.
For Twin Woods Yearly Members:
Individuals who have Twin Woods Golf Course yearly memberships will not have to pay the weekly green fee.
A standing weekly tee time is recommended, and rain dates can be arranged with no problem.
Teams may select tee times that mesh with their golfers' work schedules so team members can tee off at the same time.
Teams can tee off when all team members arrive and sign in at the Pro Shop. Twin Woods reserves the right to start foursomes at any tee. Play should be completed in about two hours.
Teams must include a minimum of four golfers at the time of registration, but additional team members may be added during the season. Teams with more than four golfers will tee off at the same time in groups of no more than four players.
